WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah--The Utah Grizzlies (11-6-2) shut down the International Hockey League's second-best offense Saturday, defeating the Las Vegas Thunder (9-9-2) 5-0 in front of 10,131 at the "E" Center. John LeBlanc scored twice for the Grizzlies, in the first and third periods. Jeff Sharples and Fred Knipscheer netted goals within the first 4:12 of the second period to make the score 3-0, and Roman Vopat added a fourth goal early in the third. Knipscheer also assisted on both of LeBlanc's goals. Goalie Wade Flaherty stopped all 24 Las Vegas shots to post his second shutout, and the Grizzlies' third straight win. The Thunder's Manny Legace faced 25 shots and made 20 saves.
