SMU takes WAC soccer title

Southern Methodist midfielder Daniel Hernandez tallied a goal and three assists Sunday to lead the Mustangs to a 4-0 victory over Tulsa in the championship game of the Western Athletic Conference soccer tournament at UNLV. Hernandez, the WAC Player of the Year, was named the MVP of the tournament after contributing to all four goals in the title game and scoring the first goal in SMU's 2-1 overtime victory in the semifinals against San Jose State.
