MARY K. CUTEZO
Mary K. Cutezo, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Alabama. A resident since the 1970s, she was a waitress/cashier at the Riviera hotel-casino and a member of the Culinary Union.
She is survived by two sons, Al Bailey and Tommy Bailey, both of Georgia; one daughter, Kathy Robinson of Illinois; and seven grandchildren.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., arranged private services.
LANCE COBY ESQUIVEL
Lance Coby Esquivel, 4, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A three-year resident, he was born Sept. 3, 1993, in Fort Collins, Colo.
He is survived by his mother, Kelly Ann Esquivel, and his father, Chad Price, both of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Jeanie and Henry Esquivel of Las Vegas, Fran Price of Bakersfield, Calif., and Jim Price of Phoenix.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the American Red Cross, Clark County Chapter, 1819 E. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89104.
LISA GAMETT
Lisa Gamett, 17, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 27, 1980, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a Chaparral High School student, president of the Varsity Choir, member of Expressions and the Senior Class Committee and co-captain of the Varsity Golf Team.
She is survived by her parents, Paula and Bruce Gamett of Las Vegas; one sister, Jennifer Lambert of Lehi, Utah; three brothers, Jason Gamett of Pleasant Hill, Calif., Brian Gamett of Provo, Utah, and Kevin Gamett of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Mark and Evelyn Gamett of Las Vegas and Leo Dawna and Jerry Larsen of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Wednesday in the Viking LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
WILLIAM C. JANETT
William C. Janett, 60, of Las Vegas died Thursday. He was born Oct. 7, 1937, in Phoenix. A 32-year resident, he was a retired hotel management programmer.
He is survived by his companion, Eleanor Katz of Las Vegas; two sons, Mike Janett of Corona Del Mar, Calif., and Jamie Janett of Illinois; one daughter, Kelly Hodge of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
JEFFREY MCKENZIE
Jeffrey McKenzie, 37, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1960, in Wyanotte, Mich. A seven-year resident, he was a flooring mechanic for a carpet firm and a member of the American Legion in Tucson, Ariz.
He is survived by one sister, Denise Burnham of Las Vegas; and five brothers, Jerome McKenzie and Glenn McKenzie, both of Las Vegas, Robert M. McKenzie of Fenton, Mich., Lynn McKenzie of South Lyon, Mich., and Lorne McKenzie of Tucson.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 1900 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
PETER T. MILLER
Peter T. Miller, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1927, in Hammond, Ind. A five-year resident, he was a retired attorney for a motor club, an Army veteran and a member of the Indiana Bar Association and Order of Ahepa.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Scott Harman of Las Vegas and Virginia and Mohammad Douroudian of Mission Viejo, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Maria Vasos and Theodore Douroudian, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Church services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
DEAN PETERSEN
Dean Petersen, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 4, 1934, in Hiram, Utah. A 42-year resident, he owned and operated the Westward Ho casino for more than 30 years and was a member of Masonic Lodge 41, Scottish Rite and the Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Karen Petersen Tyndall and Kathryn Petersen, one son, Michael Dean Petersen, and three sisters, Faye Johnson, Nyla Petersen and Josi Brown, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is private. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
The family suggests donations to the Boys and Girls Club of Las Vegas, P.O. Box 26689, Las Vegas, NV 89126.
