MARY JEAN BAROZZI
Mary Jean Barozzi, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 22, 1922, in Scammon, Kan. A 64-year resident, she was a retired 15-year executive secretary and the first employee for the Las Vegas Valley Water District and a Las Vegas High School graduate.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Barozzi of Las Vegas and Richard Barozzi of Roseburg, Ore.; and one brother, Robert Gallagher of Las Vegas.
Visitation continues until a 5 p.m. service today in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89117.
LAURA V. CALAPINI
Laura V. Calapini, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 18, 1933, in Tauyug, Philippines. A 21-year resident, she was a hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by her husband, Cirilo; one son, Rodolfo Calapini, and one daughter, Maria Chua, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Ricardo Valdez and Juan Valdez, and one sister, Ansing Valdez, all of the Philippines; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 6 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, followed by graveside services in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite Catholic charity.

William Lewis Carrington, 67, of Las Vegas died Nov. 4 in a local care center. He was born June 19, 1930, in Waterbury, Conn. A 30-year resident, he was a limousine/taxicab dispatcher.
He is survived by his wife, Vauna; one daughter, Sharon Moscato; and three brothers, Lou Carrington, Paul Carrington and David Carrington.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
CHARLENE M. CRAFT
Charlene M. Craft, 44, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born June 9, 1953, in Temple, Texas. A 32-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Willie B.; two daughters, Lavenia Matthews and Stephanie Craft, and two brothers, Harrison Matthews and Earl Matthews, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Marie Waller of North Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until -9 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services. A private burial will follow.
DANIEL DELLA-CIOPPA SR.
Daniel Della-Cioppa Sr., 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Lawrence, Mass. A seven-year Nevada resident including 4 1/2 years in Las Vegas, he was a retired pharmaceutical sales manager and an elder in the Spring Valley Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Carmina; one son, Daniel Della-Cioppa Jr. of Las Vegas; one sister, Ruth Della-Cioppa of Providence, R.I.; and one brother, David Della-Cioppa of Salem, N.H.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5546 W. Oakey Blvd. Graveside services will be private. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. is handling arrangements.
LESSIE LADORA HILLIARD
Lessie Ladora Hilliard, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 22, 1910, in Florida. A 21-year resident, she was in retail service.
She is survived by one son, Robert O'Neill; one brother, Willard Hines; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Florida. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
CLAUDE F. KEARNEY
Claude F. Kearney, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1909, in Ogden, Utah. A five-year resident, he was a retired government office manager and a member of the Masons in Boise, Idaho.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Scalf of Boise; one daughter, Patricia Gibbs of Las Vegas; one son, James Kearney of Naperville, Ill.; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
HAZEL KING
Hazel King, 89, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born March 7, 1908, in Crescent, Okla. A 26-year resident, she was a retired 26-year Golden Nugget hotel-casino hostess.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon White of Henderson; one sister, Gertrude Hedges of Liberal, Mo; and one grandson, Randy White of Las Vegas.
Services will be in Missouri. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
RANDY KNOPP
Randy Knopp, 46, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 11, 1951, in Rupert, Idaho. A 13-year resident, he was a trucking business manager.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; one daughter, Angelika Knopp, one son, Jakob Knopp, and his parents, Edward and Esther Knopp, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Cleanne Gilman of Henderson; and two brothers, Garland Knopp of Las Vegas and Brian Knopp of Porterville, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
WILLIAM C. MCHATTIE
William C. McHattie, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 6, 1916, in Aliquippa, Pa. A 29-year resident, he was a retired hotel time office clerk and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one sister; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday with a 6 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass will be celebrated noon Saturday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
JEFFREY T. MELANSON
Jeffrey T. Melanson, 31, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 22, 1965, in Pittsfield, Mass. A 10-year resident, he was a supervisor for a gaming technology firm.
He is survived by his parents, Joy and John Melanson of Henderson; one sister, Tami Melanson of Las Vegas; and one brother, John Melanson Jr. of Wilder, Ky.
Visitation is scheduled 1-3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
ARLENA SYLVIA MOORE
Arlena Sylvia Moore, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 29, 1928, in Terre Haute, Ind. A one-year resident, she was a retired self-employed beautician, a member of the Elks Lodge and Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Carlton L. Stewart of Las Vegas; three daughters, Patricia E. Moore-Churchill of Terre Haute, Anna M. Moore-Washington of Indianapolis and Gwendolyn F. Moore-Yang of Los Angeles; one sister, Bertie L. Higgens of Los Angeles; numerous nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
HOWARD A. ROOSA
Howard A. Roosa, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Baxter Springs, Kan. A four-year resident, he was a retired power plant chief engineer.
He is survived by one son, Morris Roosa of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Trinity Life Center Senior Group Yahs.
RONALD DAVID ROSS
Ronald David Ross, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1939, in Rochester, N.Y. A seven-year resident, he was a restaurateur and a veteran of the National Guard.
He is survived by three sons, Thomas Ross, Ronald Ross Jr. and Joseph Ross; two daughters, Lorena Ross and Maria Carrier; and six grandchildren.

BENEDICT JOHN SIPEK
Benedict John Sipek, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 16, 1928, in Wisconsin. A six-year resident, he was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by three brothers, Charles Sipek and John Sipek, both of Wisconsin, and Joseph Sipek of Florida; and one sister, Mildred Krumplitish of Wisconsin.
Visitation will be private. Burial will be in Wisconsin. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
RACHEL ANN TROCCOLI
Rachel Ann Troccoli, 34, of Las Vegas died Nov. 6 in a local health care center. She was born Nov. 15, 1962, in Yonkers, N.Y. A 10-year resident, She was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sisters, Mary Jo Heverin and Joanne Troccoli; and her grandmother, Mary Buonagurio.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
STANLEY W. WANDEL
Stanley W. Wandel, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born Feb. 14, 1916, in Pittsburgh. An 11-year resident, he was a retired supervisor of a drapery firm and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Ron Wandel of Oakville, Ontario; two sisters, Mathilda Phillips and Gertrude Chaney, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be private.
KIMIE WHEAT
Kimie Wheat, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. She was born Oct. 22, 1926, in Japan. A 27-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William; and one brother, Akita Morita.
