Thursday, Nov. 13, 1997 | 9:13 a.m.

Charles Davis, project manager for OliverMcMillan, told the City Council on Wednesday that the Riverside can be restored without more money from the city for earthquake retrofitting.

But Davis said needed improvements to the Mapes would require anywhere from $5 million to $9 million.
