THURSDAY SPECIAL: The Sons and Daughters of Erin are presenting an Evening of Irish Cabaret honoring City Commissioner and Mayor Pro-Tem Michael McDonald at 7:30 p.m. in the Gold Coast Ballroom. ... There will be guest appearances by Brendan Boyer, Norman Clifford, Dave Coady, Jimmy Conway, D.J. Curtin, Michael Keane, Annie Lawrence, Martin Sweeney and Bruce O'Zarka, plus a few surprises.
Proceeds will go to various local charities supported by the Sons and Daughters of Erin and to the Irish Cultural Center Building Fund. ... We do good work with children and seniors.
