An arrest warrant has been issued for a second suspect accused of murdering a Las Vegas man over drugs.
Metro Police say Reginald C. Lucas left town shortly after the April 12 slaying of Andre Demetrius Gray, who was shot while in his car in the alley to the rear of the 400 block of Harrison Avenue. Gray was later found dead in his vehicle near the intersection of E Street and Jackson Avenue, where his car had crashed into a light pole.
Lucas surfaced as a suspect in a subsequent investigation, as did Freddie Lee Jackson, 37, who was arrested on charges of murder and robbery May 12.
Anyone with information regarding Lucas's whereabouts is asked to call the homicide detail at 229-3521. Anonymous tips can be placed with Secret Witness at 385-5555.
