Meeting planned on education

Academic standards and the drop-out rate will be discussed at a parent advisory committee meeting on Tuesday for the area served by School Board Vice President Larry Mason.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Clark County School District Area Service Center, 4546 E. Charleston Blvd. Mason represents District D, which encompasses central Las Vegas.
