Letter: Homeowner association seminar was a sham
Wednesday, May 28, 1997 | 10:48 a.m.
What I witnessed was a scripted litany spewed by a panel of so-called "experienced" people who were intolerant of questions asked by myself and others.
And a homeowner in attendance was prohibited from videotaping this group's actions, even though its ad stated that Community Associations Institute is a "national education organization."
What kind of bona-fide school would refuse to let a participant record its "free open forum"?
Who are they and, more important, what have they got to hide?
