The event, which is free and open to the public, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the first Zionist Congress and Israel's 49th year of independence.
There will be a variety of kosher food, information booths, craft vendors and extensive children's activities. There will be a picnic atmosphere in the park outside the center, and participants should bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Entertainment on a stage inside the community center will include an inter-synagogue children's choir led by cantorial soloist Lola Rivera. The main event will be an Israeli folk ensemble led by Pini Cohen of Los Angeles.
