Campbell Brenn Pontius is a four-sport athlete with a 4.0 point average. She was captain of her cheerleading and soccer teams, ran track and choreographed her high school dance team.
She also is involved in pep band, choir, student council, 4-H and SADD and is a member of the National Honor Society.
"Rather than choosing a 'star' athlete, scholarships were awarded to student-athletes who are positive leaders on and off the sporting field," Target Stores spokeswoman Suzanne Freeman told the Lovelock Review-Miner.
