StumbleTrio seeks two spots on council

Ross Whitacre, who was appointed to the Council two years ago, will be on the June 3 ballot along with Teresa Linch and Madeline Sanford. The top two vote-getters in the at-large election will be sworn in July 1.
Whitacre and Sanford are Yerington natives while Linch moved from Sacramento, Calif., about a year ago after previously living in the Carson City-Lake Tahoe area, the Mason Valley News reported.
