‘Do Lunch’ for dance
Friday, May 16, 1997 | 11:59 a.m.
The fashion show program, a benefit for Nevada Dance Theatre, is sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue and scheduled for noon May 28 at the Sheraton Desert Inn.
"Ladies Do Lunch" invites patrons to dine at the newly decorated Crystal Room in the Sheraton Desert Inn and view the 1997 fall collection from Bill Blass, an award-winning American designer since the 1950s.
Alicia Jacobs of KNTV Channel 13 will host.
Immediately following the lunch and fashion show, Blass' collection will be available for personal viewing, and coffees of the world will be served in the Designer Salon inside Saks Fifth Avenue in the Fashion Show Mall.
Women's Wear Daily called the Blass fall collection "one of the most fashiony he has done in years -- smart and snappy."
Tickets are $75. Call Lee Harrison at 732-3838.
All proceeds benefit the dancers of Nevada Dance Theatre. NDT is funded, in part, by a grant from the Nevada State Council on the Arts.
