He is survived by his wife, Carol A.; two brothers, Steve DeRosa and Tom DeRosa, both of San Diego; three sisters, Camille Colon of Naples, Italy, and Kathy Devine and Martha Scollins, both of New York City.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator's Catholic Church. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
