More than 3,100 eligible for graduation

The ceremonies have been split to cut down on the amount of time involved.
Ceremonies for students from the colleges of Hotel Administration, Extended Studies, Liberal Arts, Sciences and Urban Affairs will receive degrees at 9:30 a.m.
Students from the colleges of Business, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts and Health Sciences will be recognized at 1:30 p.m.
Receiving Distinguished Nevadan Awards will be community volunteer Donna Jo Andress, former Clark County aviation director Bob Broadbent, physician Jerry Cade, former Clark County commissioner Paul Christensen and Las Vegas Sun editor Brian Greenspun.
Stanley Fulton, a university donor and founder of Anchor Gaming, will receive an honorary doctorate of laws degree.
Former university regents Carolyn Sparks and Joseph Foley will be honored with the UNLV President's Medal.
