StumbleWoman claims responsibility for infant’s death

Sheriff Bernie Romero said Roxanne Rountree, 52, of Morristown, contacted authorities there April 20 to say she was responsible for the death of Homer James Rountree, only 1-month-old at the time of his death.
Her husband, David Lee Rountree, now 58, served a four-year prison term after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Romero said the two now live together in Tennessee. He said he's unsure why she confessed and his department is investigating the authenticity of her claim.
