Scouts plan Camp Foxtail

Camp Foxtail will be held June 15-Aug. 8, and will include 27 six-day themed sessions. Sessions carry names such as "Rainbow Adventure," "Hiker's Discovery," "Midnight Magic," "Lights, Camera, Action" and "Fun, Fitness and Fashion."

Girls devote a portion of each day to focusing on their chosen session theme. The remaining time is spent participating in general camp activities such as hiking, arts and crafts, cookouts and nature discovery.

The Las Vegas community is invited to Camp Clean-Up Day, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 7, as well as to the annual open house, which will take place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 14. For more information on the camp program, call Frontier Girl Scout Council, 385-3677.
