Trucks hauling gasoline, cyanide jackknife on loneliest road

The NHP said the rigs slid after hitting the ice at the same time, but didn't run into one another. However, U.S. 50 was partially blocked so that only passenger cars and small trucks could get through.
The 7,484-elevation central Nevada summit is just east of here, on what's known as the "loneliest road in America" leading to Ely on the east side of the state.
