He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; four sons, Terry Nicks of Seattle, Al Nicks of Farmington, N.Y., James Nicks of St. George, Utah, and Gary Nicks of Las Vegas; two daughters, Daryl Hewitt and Mary Alice Nicks, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Terry Simons of Doyle, Calif.; one sister, Lottie Roth of Clovis, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
