How the Clark County School Board voted Thursday to spend tax dollars:
* $4,685,187 to various vendors for such things as computer hardware and software, textbooks, copying machines, band uniforms, diploma covers, paper, VCRs, crayons, library books and carpeting.
* $996,667 to various contractors for change orders to school building contracts. Included are $89,959 to Pace Contracting Co. for Richard Bryan Elementary; $32,726 to Clark & Sullivan Constructors Inc. for Roberts Elementary; $191,699 to Pace Contracting Co. for Wilhelm Elementary; $627,902 to Roche Constructors, Inc. for Lied Middle School; $25,695.78 to Affordable Concepts Inc. for Smith Middle School modernization; $35,833.50 to Richardson Construction Inc. for the freezer addition and facility upgrade at the food service central kitchen facility
* $532,691 to RGC Construction Inc. for Chaparral High School's auditorium and rest rooms modernization.
* $216,232 to various vendors for bid awards including $116,232 for writing paper and $100,000 for industrial technology supplies.
