Sen. Richard Bryan, D-Nev., is debating the nuclear waste issue in cyberspace.
The PBS Newshour Online Forum is posting e-mail from Bryan and Senate Energy Committee Chairman Frank Murkowski, R-Alaska, who sponsored a temporary high-level nuclear waste storage bill to put the material at the Nevada Test Site.
Questions about the issue went to the forum's website by e-mail and Bryan and Murkowski each provided responses.
The Online Forum's address is www.pbs.org/newshour.
The Senate returns to work April 7 and the temporary nuclear waste storage bill is scheduled first on the floor.
