* TUESDAY: Semifinals, 6 p.m., UNLV's Artemus Ham Hall ($10 general admission, $5 students and seniors).

* WEDNESDAY: VIP reception, 6-7 p.m., Artemus Ham Hall, with purchase of $200 ticket for prime seating for all events; competition finals and performances by Joe Williams, Ruth Brown and After 7, 7:30 p.m., UNLV's Artemus Ham Hall ($15 and $25).
