Huntridge Theater operator Richard Lenz has announced his candidacy for Las Vegas City Council in Ward 2, a seat now held by Arnie Adamsen.
Lenz, a Las Vegas native, graduated from Las Vegas High School and studied music at UNLV. He has owned his own businesses since 1977. He is president of TLG, a production company, in addition to his duties at the Huntridge.
Lenz is chairman of the Friends of Huntridge Theater, a group that has restored and preserved the historic facility at Charleston Boulevard and Maryland Parkway.
Other people seeking to unseat Adamsen are neighborhood activist Sue Brna and tax-equity advocate Charles Umnuss.
