Horton will be featured in ‘Evening’

Horton, a Rhythm & Blues Foundation Pioneer Award recipient, led the group that gave Motown Records its first No. 1 pop hit, "Please Mr. Postman," setting in motion the now-famous Motown sound.
The Palmore Brothers will open the show. A silent auction and dinner precede the concert.
The Motown-themed formal event will benefit the Links Inc., Las Vegas Chapter, celebrating the national's 50th and the local's 20th anniversaries.
The Links Inc. is an international civic organization of women dedicated to implementing diverse cultural and art programs, providing educational programs and scholarships, and taking stands on national and international issues that impact the communities.
