The U.S. Department of Energy has extended until March 17 the public comment period on its proposal to change siting guidelines for Yucca Mountain, the proposed site for disposing of high-level nuclear waste.
Written comments may be submitted to April Gil, U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management, Yucca Mountain Site Characterization Office, P.O. Box 98608, Las Vegas, NV 89193-8608. Internet users can send electronic mail to 10CFR960@notes.ymp.gov
