Teenager pleads guilty to reckless driving
Saturday, June 28, 1997 | 11:59 a.m.
Washoe District Judge Brent Adams is scheduled to sentence Brandon Scott Walker, 18, on Aug. 5.
Walker, who entered the plea Friday, was a Galena High School student when he struck and killed Manouchehr Daylami, 68, on South Virginia Street.
He also was charged with leaving the accident scene. But that charge was dropped in return for his plea to the reckless driving charge.
Adams will have the choice of sending Walker to prison or giving him probation.
