SUN Camp Fund: 10-year-old seeks chance to got to camp
Tuesday, June 17, 1997 | 11:59 a.m.
Brenda was born with a physical disability. Her left hand was only a stub. It takes a brave child to adjust to something like this, but Brenda's naturally happy disposition and her encouraging parents have helped her to overcome her shyness. Today she has many friends and her teachers praise her as one of their best students.
Brenda has a wish. She wants to go to summer camp, but the family is unable to pay the fees. The fact is, one of her teachers asked the SUN Camp Fund if we could help. She wrote, "Brenda is such a sweet child, please make her happy."
Your donation to the SUN Camp Fund brings joy to children like Brenda.
We thank recent donors: Edward Graham, Clyde Lenny Dinkins, Molly Irwin. Also a donation in memory of Nicholas, a gift from Jim Bifano in memory of Laura and Charles Bifano. And a donation from F. Kay Carl to honor Thomas Vincent Buca on his first birthday.
Donations can be sent to: SUN Camp Fund, 800 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV. 89107.
