Two well-known Southern Nevada political figures form alliance

Bob Broadbent, who recently retired as director of the Clark County Aviation Department, says he has formed Broadbent Consulting Inc., in association with The Rogich Communications Group.
Broadbent has also been a Clark County commissioner and served as an assistant secretary of the Interior Department in the Reagan administration. He will specialize in infrastructure, water, air quality and public land issues.
Broadbent has worked closely with Sig Rogich, a longtime advertising executive and political consultant, who heads Rogich Communications, a public relations and political consulting firm.
The two worked together on former U.S. Sen. Paul Laxalt's 1964 campaign and Rogich worked on several of Broadbent's political campaigns.
Rogich crafted many of the television commercials for President Reagan's campaigns and was a presidential assistant in the Bush administration, handling media relations. He later served as U.S. Ambassador to Iceland in the Bush administration.
