He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Brett Dowling of Las Vegas, and Johnny Clyde Johnson and Ryan Lee Johnson, both of Lubbock, Texas; one daughter, Ashley Ly-Shelle Johnson of Lubbock; his mother, Bennie Jackson of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Margaret Ann Wiesehan of Harlingen, Texas, Bennie Lynn Hilton of Tampa, and Gay Dungan of Edinburg, Texas; and one brother, Rusty Dungan of Donna, Texas.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be private.
