Letter: Stop wasting the money on failed drug programs

That is our drug program. The more they fail, the more money we ship them. If your job is problem-solving and you solve the problem, you are laid off. Great incentive to fail.

We don't have to change laws; just stop the funding and put the hundreds of millions we spend on chasing druggies into rehabs and job training for those who want it.

Think about it: A grammar school kid can find drug dealers but highly trained police can't. It's all money.
