IMMUNITY - AB304. Provides immunity from civil liability for disclosing information about cash transactions.
RETIRE - AB408. Makes various changes regarding retirement from public service.
CONSTABLES - SB83. Lets county commissioners abolish constables.
JUDGES-PHONES - SB193. Requires judges to list office phone numbers.
ELECTIONS - SB215. Makes various changes relating to elections.
CRIME VICTIMS - AB110. Makes various changes concerning crime victims.
SENATE Measures Approved
FUND - SB171. Appropriates $241,300 to restore balance in contingency fund. To Assembly.
VIDEO - SB196. Appropriates $234,980 to establish interactive video broadcast system between Legislative building in Carson City and Sawyer Bldg. in Las Vegas. To Assembly.
MENTALLY RETARDED - SB228. Authorizes assistance for parent or relative who cares for severely mentally retarded person or child under age six. To Assembly.
JUNK DEALERS - SB242. Makes various changes to provisions governing pawnbrokers, junk dealers and secondhand dealers. To Assembly.
ELECTRIC - SB283. Revises provisions that require assessment of costs for underground electric facilities against specially benefited lots. To Assembly.
REAL ESTATE - SB306. Provides for administrative review of disciplinary action against real estate licensee upon discovery of new evidence. To Assembly.
EMBALMERS - SB320. Revises provisions governing funeral directors, embalmers and operators of cemeteries and crematories. To Assembly.

EMPLOYEES - AB38. Allows employees to submit written responses to any information contained in personnel files. To Senate.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING - AB76. Prohibits local governments from disapproving affordable housing developments for discriminatory reasons as long as those developments meet the requirements of local zoning plans. To Senate.
PRIMARY - AB387. Appoints members to Rocky Mountain presidential primary task force. To Senate.
TOLLS - AB403. Authorizes local and state governments to establish toll roads and bridges. 26-15. To Senate.
RECORDS - AB459. Prohibits Public Service Commission from inspecting pay records or other employment documents of executives or other utility employees. To Senate.
LAND SALES - AJR8. Urges Congress to enact Southern Nevada Land Management Act. To Senate.

PAY RAISES - AB560, Ways and Means. Increases salary of governor from $77,500 to $90,000 until 1999, when it would increase again to $117,000. To Ways and Means.
