Kingman, Arizona man dies in Las Vegas crash
Monday, June 2, 1997 | 11:59 a.m.
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Steve Harney said the victim, Jerome Fields, apparently was trying to change lanes at Interstate 15 and U.S. 95, a complex interchange known as the Spaghetti Bowl.
Harney said Fields' car struck a truck that had stopped on the shoulder because of a flat tire.
The driver of the truck, Michael Lial, 25, was not injured. He was changing the tire at the time of the crash.
