StumbleGas station and well pump up Elko building permit figures

Figures for the month show the city issued 25 permits in June, compared with 36 issued in June 1996.
But the value of permits issued last month totaled $1.9 million, a 77 percent increase over the $1.09 million issued in the same month last year.
Leading June's list is a permit issued to Wally Elias for construction of a gas station and convenience store valued at $589,000.
Construction of a 3 million gallon city water tank is valued at $513,000.
