Sandoval, R-Reno, lost his wallet Tuesday night after he put it on top of his car while putting other items in the vehicle. He forgot it and drove off.
Stephen Conerby, 14, found the wallet and called Sandoval, who offered to buy the boy lunch when he picked up the wallet Wednesday.
Conerby chose tacos and burritos from the fast-food restaurant where he was headed when he found the wallet. Sandoval also gave him a state seal and some minature flags.
"He's a great kid," Sandoval said. "Kids need to be recognized and their good behavior needs to be rewarded."
