1. Tommi Makinen, Finland, Mitsubishi Lancer, 3 hours 9 minutes 17 seconds.
2. Piero Liatti, Italy, Subaru Impreza, 24 seconds behind.
3. Carlos Sainz, Spain, Ford Escort, 27 seconds behind.
4. Armin Schwarz, Germany, Ford Escort, 3 minutes 43 seconds.
5. Uwe Nittel, Germany, Mitsubishi Lancer, 8 minutes 31 seconds.
