Terry Labonte to run in LV

Reigning Winston Cup champion Terry Labonte has confirmed he will compete in Las Vegas Motor Speedway's 300-mile NAS CAR Busch Grand National race March 16.
Labonte, 40, of Corpus Christi, Texas, steered Rick Hendrick's No. 5 Kelloggs Corn Flakes Monte Carlo to a popular Winston Cup title last season. He'll drive the No. 5 Bayer Aspirin/Alka-Seltzer Monte Carlo in Las Vegas. His brother Bobby also will compete and fellow Winston Cupper Michael Waltrip also has committed.
To purchase tickets for the Busch race or any Las Vegas Motor Speedway event, call 644-4443. The LVMS ticket office is open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Race tickets also may be purchased at the Imperial Palace box office.
