Atkinson Gates raised $460,795 for her race against challenger Earl Swift, who reported spending $250. Atkinson Gates now has $159,797 in surplus campaign funds.
Woodbury raised $588,570 in his race against Lee Haynes, who spent $340. Woodbury now has $138,000 in leftover funds.
Nevada law says candidates can save their surplus campaign donations for the next campaign or use them for expenses related to their office. They can also use the extra money for political or charitable donations.
