Three people have been arrested for allegedly running a fencing operation in a Meadows Village apartment complex.
Undercover Metro Police officers posed as dealers of purported stolen property to crack the case, receiving rock cocaine in return, authorities said.
The transactions took place at 235 and 235 1/2 W. Cleveland Ave., where police in turn served search warrants Wednesday. Recovered from the residences were approximately $4,000 in stolen property, including $1,000 in casino logo clothing. Cash and several grams of rock cocaine were also seized.
Pablo Pena, 36, Ebling Gauna, 27, and Edvardo Rodriquez, 36, were arrested and charged each with receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
