Deion might return to baseball

The Dallas Cowboys' early exit from the NFL playoffs ultimately may benefit the Cincinnati Reds.
With an extra month of idle time after Dallas was ousted from the Super Bowl hunt Sunday by the Carolina Panthers, Deion Sanders is expected to strongly consider resuming his baseball career.
The Reds are interested in re-signing their former center fielder.
General manager Jim Bowden has been in contact with Sanders' agents since the middle of last season and plans to continue his efforts.
Sanders, 29, has made it clear he loves the Reds and they would be his top -- and possibly only -- choice if he returns to baseball after a one-year absence.
He remains close to Bowden, infielders Lenny Harris and Barry Larkin and other members of the organization.
