SUN pages are chock full of good reading…almost

If none of those occurred to her there are also the tough and honest commentaries by Gov. Mike O'Callaghan; the thoughtful, intelligent and, too infrequent columns by Sandra Thompson and the news reports and special events coverage by so many others on staff. She might even have mentioned Ruthe Deskin, even if her views on basketball are slightly skewed. How about the excellent news coverage? The SUN also has many fine syndicated columnists on its pages that could be among those considered "... the best thing about the SUN."
So much to choose from, yet Ms. Deskin elected the daily barrage of rather witless and strained, boring commentary by Scott Dickensheets. I've been reading Dickensheets' "People in the News" feature occasionally since then and I still think he's witless and untalented. Oh, well.
