Jesse L. Hill, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday at a local hospital. He was born Oct. 24, 1917, in Cassville, Mo. A five-year resident, he was a retired contractor and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ursula; two daughters, Barbara Cherish of California and Gale Poune of Las Vegas; five sons, Ted Hill of Clovis, Calif., Larry Hill of Folsom, Calif., Ronnie Hill of Orangevale, Calif., Randy Hill of Las Vegas and Dale Poune of Reno; a brother, Lloyd Hill of Piru, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Palm Mortuary handled arrangements.
