Evangelina A. Diaz, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday at a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1912, in Matanzas, Cuba. A nine-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Omar Diaz and Miguel Diaz of Las Vegas; three daughters, Elvira Carmona and Gloria Diaz of Las Vegas and Evangelina Sardinas of Miami; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is noon-11:30 p.m. today and 1-9 a.m. Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Palm with burial at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
