Obituary: Clifton Charles Winters

Clifton Charles Winters, 70, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Los Angeles. A 20-year resident, he was a retired railroad switchman and a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of the Union Pacific Auxiliary Group, Philippines Visayan Society and the Henderson Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Magie; three daughters, Aleen Savage of Buena Park, Calif., Sheree Serada of Green Valley and Laura Rubio of Southgate, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 2-7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Palm. Burial will be private.
