Obituary: Charles E. Lang

Charles E. Lang, 78, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 11, 1919, in Park Ridge, Ill. A six-year resident, he was a retired chemical engineer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary "Betty"; three daughters, Judy Lang of Sacramento, Calif., Jackie Stanek of Providence, N.J., and Sandra Au of Wilmingston, Del.; a son, James Lang of Wilmington; a sister, Marge Shipley of San Diego; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
