The community is being credited with helping law enforcement track down two more of Secret Witness' "most wanted" suspects.
A tip called in to the local Secret Witness office led to the arrest of Mark Stewart Brindley, 34, in Jones Borrow, Ark., on Feb. 6. Brindley, whose photo appeared in the SUN Jan. 24, was wanted on warrants for one count of burglary, one count of possession of stolen property, and two counts of grand larceny.
Also on Feb. 6, police were called to a local tavern for a suspicious situation involving a female and wound up arresting Yvonne Charlotte Clark, 37, on a warrant for burglary. Clark, who has four prior convictions on her record, had been wanted since July 8. She was profiled in the SUN July 24.
To date, 148 of 189 suspects deemed to be Secret Witness' most wanted individuals, have been taken into custody or otherwise accounted for.
