More than four years after filling Sam Boyd Stadium during its "Zoo TV" tour, U2 will make a return engagement there on April 25. The band will make an official announcement regarding its world tour Wednesday in New York.
Although dates and venues have yet to be verified, the Las Vegas show is rumored to be the first tour stop.
"There have been radio stations (in Los Angeles) giving away tickets to U2's opening concert in Vegas, but sometimes the wagon gets ahead of the horse," a publicist for the band said.
U2 is touring in support of "Pop," its new release.
