Piano-saxophone duo to play at Winchester

The two will be joined by bassist Bob Badgley and drummer Bill Moody for the second half of the program, the fourth in the Nevada Jazz Artists series.
Romano, a prominent Las Vegas tenor saxophonist, played with the Woody Herman bands for many years, appearing in the Newport and Monterey jazz festivals.
Pianist Stefan Karlsson earned a master's degree from the University of North Texas' jazz program and is now assistant director of jazz studies at UNLV.
The Winchester Community Center is at 3130 McLeod Drive.
Tickets are $7, $5 for Jazz Society members; call 455-7340.
The concert is sponsored by the Las Vegas Jazz Society, Clark County Parks & Recreation and KUNV 91.5-FM.
