* LICENSING BOARDS -- SB70 of 1995. Would have allowed certain state boards to hire private counsel.

* VOCATIONAL -- SB119, Rhoads. Makes appropriation to the Department of Education for vocational student organizations. To Finance.

* INJURED WORKERS -- AB147, Goldwater. Prohibits employers or insurers from talking to doctors or chiropractors of employees without employees present. To Labor.
* RENT -- AB148, Commerce. Requires landlords to notify state of rent increases that affect low-income residents receiving state assistance. To Commerce.
* PUBLIC LANDS -- AB149, Natural Resources. Establishes penalties for misusing public lands. To Natural Resources.
* CREDIT CARDS -- AB150, Bache. Authorizes state and local governments to accept credit cards as payment for money owed to governments. To Government Affairs.
* CRIMINAL HISTORIES -- AB151, Judiciary. Charges fees to employers for employees' criminal histories. To Judiciary.
* STATE PARKS -- AB152, Judiciary. Defines provisions governing citations issued in state parks. To Judiciary.
* ELECTIONS -- AB153, Government Affairs. Defines circumstances when municipalities can call special elections. To Government Affairs.
