StumbleLetter: Rodeo a blatant display of abuse; animals take back seat

With reference to the letter "Rodeo photo sickens reader" by Jennifer Gryder, I agree that rodeos are a blatant display of animal abuse. How people can treat animals this way is more than my mind can conceive.
During the time the rodeo was here, the SUN had numerous pictures and articles on this atrocious event. I guess it was no surprise the TV news media had to drag it out too! When the almighty dollar comes on the scene, compassion and respect for the animals take a back seat.
