Goodwill eyes year-end donations

Goodwill Industries is collecting donations at its four Attended Donation Center trailers and three retail stores in Las Vegas. Donating clothing and household items enables those who itemize their returns to deduct the donations. Receipts will be provided.

"This is an opportunity to help people with disabilities get good jobs in our community by donating gently used items you no longer need," said Steve Chartrand, Goodwill president.

ADC trailers are located in the Mountain View Hospital parking lot at Cheyenne Avenue and Tenaya Way; the Cheyenne Self Storage parking lot at Cheyenne Avenue and Rampart Boulevard; the Sam's Club parking lot at Spring Mountain Road and Rainbow Boulevard; and the Wal-Mart parking lot at Charleston and Nellis boulevards.

Goodwill retail stores are located at 31 N. Nellis Blvd., 2560 Duneville St., and 3461 Boulder Highway.
